Notice it, name it, work through it

Step 1: Catch the thought
Notice the thought behind how you're feeling, right in the moment when it happens.
Step 2: Write it down with a thought record
A self-guided CBT-style thought record: what happened, what you thought, what you felt, and how the environment influenced you.
Step 3: Practice a different response
Liven suggests a reframe or a short exercise based on what you wrote, so you can practice a different response before the pattern repeats.
Please note that self-help CBT exercises in Liven are not a substitute for working with a licensed clinical therapist

I've only just started
I've only just started, but everything I've seen has been impressive, and more importantly, evidenced-based. CBT is a fantastic framework for something like this, so I'm very encouraged.
