Kristi Godwin holds a Doctorate in Public Administration and is a seasoned practitioner-scholar.

With over twenty years of direct counseling experience, Kristi combines a deep understanding of family systems with intensive clinical training to support individuals and families navigating life’s most complex challenges.

Kristi’s versatile background spans clinical therapy, public speaking, and graduate-level education. She possesses specialized expertise in working with children and adolescents, particularly those within the foster care or adoption systems who have experienced emotional or physical trauma. Her clinical approach is multifaceted, integrating Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to provide trauma-informed care that is both compassionate and rigorous.

Beyond the therapy room, Kristi is an accomplished educator and speaker, having taught graduate-level courses and led large-scale seminars on therapeutic techniques and organizational change.
